I need some code that a co-worker is working on. In an email to me, he said, “I completed it last week.”
So I looked in the project and found nothing. So I emailed him, “Can you tell me what package it is in?”
The response? “I haven’t checked it in yet, because I haven’t written the test cases. When I check it in, I will let you know.”
Of course, it’s not really done because it’s not been tested. At least he didn’t check it in without any tests.
So much for TDD.
