Too much happening
There is too much going on this week to say much in detail. Here are some snippets:
- I tried GNU Emacs for Cygwin. It works fine, until it decides not to refresh. I’m not sure if it’s because I am running too much, I need to restart Xwin in Cygwin, etc. I moved back to the “native” Emacs for Windows. I don’t like it as much, but it seems to actually refresh.
- Being busy on one thing always makes me want to work on something else. While tests were running and I needed a break, I wrote:
- A shell script to backup and install new apps on my Palm via pilot-link
- A cronjob that will get new caches around home and the office
- I’ve had some weird stuff happening with Linux and Solaris on VirtualPC and had to restrain myself from figuring out QEMU until things calm down.
- As you can see from my del.icio.us links I’ve been looking at some Joomla/Mambo stuff. More on that later.
- Oh, and my del.icio.us links are on the side now. I just need to more my old links from de.lirio.us sometime.
