Washington fugitive hides in Western NE
For some reason, this story hasn’t been appearing too much in the Omaha press. Not only is it something out of a movie, it seems to say there is a hole in the Social Security system when the Fed sends two checks to two different addresses for the same SSN number for years. From the only Omaha press story:
Jimmy collects Social Security benefits for his disability. After several months of not receiving his checks, he filed a complaint with the Social Security administration in October. Agents from the administration investigated where the money was going and Dunaway’s criminal history. A week later, he was arrested.
